Well I found freakonomics a wonderful book.....and trust me for those who did not, all I would advice is go through the foreword.Steven says in the begining itself that he was impressed upon to write a book with some central theme but then chose to try something different. He chose to write a book without a theme.Armed with this background when u read the book you find that the book is a motley coterie of incidents which we see all around but do not analyze. For business readers such as me what I found interesting was that he leaves the inference or the connection between the incidents to you, this is think is where the book falters for general audience. For instance wen steven writes that a rental agent sells his house late but your house early and compares the same with sumo wrestlers who fix the matches he impresses upon the readers mind with the concept of hedging.

All in all I found the book very logical especially when towards the end when he proves each of his findings statistically.....trust me if u get ur hands on this one read it....u wont mind it at all...
