Hello MS ''Im listening''. Review on Frasier

You come home after a long day.your tired sick of the same routine and sick of going for those stupid classes or seeing shrinks to find a way to keep yourself happy by finding something fun to do.wanna know my secret.yes I do see a psychiatrist.no no not the ones in real life I have my daily appointment with doctor Frasier Crane.yes that's right its Frasier who gives my daily treatment of laughs and fun to whisk those bad moments and stress away.

at first I thought that this show was one of those serious soaps types ,not until I finally watched one of them one day (basically shows you how jobless I am).it wasnt so bad.at first I didnt get most of the jokes and puns.but then I matured a little over the months and then it all started making sense to me.my parents would hear my loud laughs from the Tv room right through their bedroom door when I watched it late at night.this show was totally different from the other comedy seriels.it didnt show stupid and dumb incidents that would make only a seven year old laugh it was more sophisticated and looked like it was only meant for people with a certain intellect but a little reading and use of the dictionary at times got me used to the show (Hey I wasnt illiterate ok).

THE CAST

Dr Frasier Crane-

this character is played by Kelsey Grammer.Frasier is a wealthy and very bright psychiatrist who hasa very popular radio show in the city of seattle.Frasier spends most of his time solving other people problems on his show and at home and at the same time unable to solve his own personal issues.already divorced once to lilith with a son fredrick.there have been a lot of women in frasier's life except that he always fails to hit it off with them.the entire situation always results in a break up at the end of the program.frasier now living with his father have brought each other closer together than what they were before.

Niles Crane-

the second son of father Martin Crane and only brother of Frasier.Niles is also a well known psychiatrist in the city of seattle.the character played by David Hyde Pierce is a also a very bright person with SAT scores to near Genius which brother Frasier Envies is married to Maris.the character even though never seen in seriels seems to always seems to have some problem or the other with her husband Niles causes them to divorce later on.

Martin Crane-

the father of the two brothers played by John Mahony is an ex-cop with the police force.after an accident which caused his hip to give away martin is now retired and under the care of Daphne Moon.now martin enjoys his time relaxing in his dilapidated old chair sipping a beer and petting his pet dog eddie.all of which drives Frasier up the wall especially the dog eddie.

Daphne Moon-

played by Jane Leeves starts her job caring for ex-cop Martin Crane is now accepted as family and the place is hell with out her around.she moved in after the accident left martin crane in need of some help.she is more like the nanny in that house.settling fights taking care of the place is what she mostly does.Frasier’s brother Niles, after his divorce with Maris begins to have a crush on Daphne.but unfortunately for the time being she is totally oblivious to that fact that he does have certain feelings for her.

Roz Doyle-

played by Peri Giplin, Roz is Frasier’s producer down at the radio station. After becoming pregnant and not being able to marry the baby’s father Roz settles down as a single mother.

MY THOUGHTS-

the show is basically about the day to day life of our star Frasier.the ups downs of his day to day life are brought out in a comical manner but having its serious moments too.the comedy comes out from the sticky situations Frasier always manages to get himself into and at the same time dragging his younger brother into it.the film is also about family and how the two brother inspite of being so competitive with each other always manage to help each other out.well siblings will always be siblings.

The two brothers inspite of having a great life as they have achieved their fame and fortune deal with different aspects of life which their new found status cannot help them with. The comedy like I mentioned earlier is a little sophisticated but its great to watch and I could keep watching it for hours together.
