1976, the year when Frampton Comes Alive, was released following his succesful live show at San Fransico and amazingly this was his best album to date, from being a single album it became a double album with the inclusion of extra tracks Peter Frampton hails from England and started off as a musician in his early age of 10 playing the Banjolele (banjo+ukelele in one!!) He has played with people like David Bowie in his early teens (Bowie studied arts under Peter's dad) and later on with Rolling Stones, George Harrisson, Stevie Wonder and the likes Called as the most eligible bachelor in the 70s Frampton has featured on the cover of Rolling Stones mag many a time. It was but no wonder, that girls used to swoon on this cupid faced singer.
The album features some of his best numbers like, ''show me the way'', ''Something's happening'', Baby I love your way, lines on my face and the most renowned Do you feel like I do. It was in this song that I have heard the best talk box routine of the chorus. In 1978 peter was involved in a near fatal car accident, but recovered to cut more albums 2003 will see a new album from Peter More on peter later cheers subra
