The hints for writing reviews it says I should write the review such that it answers the following questions:
- What has been your your personal experience with this college?
A. I've had loads and loads of experiences worth telling and each one of them has been a learning experience.For eg: When I was asked to go home(all the way to colaba) and change my pants coz they were cargo pants, I learned that-in the words of a certain senile director-I shouldn't wear cargoes to college as they are worn by people in a workshop.Many such experiences exist but I'm too bored to write them all
- What I like or dislike about this college?
A. What I Like: I like the fact that the college has morning assembly so that v can be disciplined; I like that if ur late for above mentioned assembly, you have stand in a late comer's line(I kid you not); I like that the college campus is right next to the vashi sewage system and it starts stinking in the afternoon; I like that we have a retest system so insanely stupid that if you tested it, it would get a retest itself; I like that the teaching staff is "extremely helpful" and "well read" and have brilliant communication skills; I like that the princi is so stubborn that if you don't attend the 1st day of college ur expected to bring your parents irrespective of where they reside(even if they are in jammu); I like that the security thinks that they are guarding Fort Knox and interrogate each passerby like a potential terrorist.; I like that if you're in the EXTC department (like yours truly) you are expected to read and explain an IEEE paper if you miss any classes;
What I dislike: I dislike that we don't have a diary system wherein the lecturers could write notes like "dear parent, your child was talking in the class"; I dislike that we don't have to wear uniforms because that would just be so damn cool; I dislike that the curfew time in the boys hostel is as "late" as 7 p.m.; I dislike that the college isn't a little stricter in general.
- Who should attend this college?Who shouldn't?
A. I feel that the college is so good that every aspiring engineer should come here so that they can fulfill their dreams (whatever the hell they are). Basically if you are looking for a rocking college life with good personality development, Fr. Agnel is the place to be.
P.S.- Please forgive my sarcasm...I am too bitter to write a straightforward review
