It is Australian but it does not taste the same. You have the original and you have this you will instantly realise it is not the same.

I hate the fosters.Though I will admit it has done great in terms of capturing market share over Kingfisher.

My dislike does not come from any reason connected to its origin or commercial reasons. Initially when I had the beer I used to have a lot of stomach upsets.

Later I realised that whenever I have Fosters specially more than a bottle it creates a very gassy situation in the tummy. It is generally much more acidic than the better beers. This causes a lot of burping and acidity even later and I find that my digestion is buggered up the next day.

I though maybe it was my notion or maybe it does not suite my system. But I have checked this with several people and I would know atleast 50-60 people who have felt the same thing and prefer the other brands.

I would not blame the brand but think maybe there is some process differance here.Another brand that does the same thing is the San Miguel in Nepal.
