Review : Hi all!! I'm writting in mouthshut after almost 18 months now. I was trying to keep my mouth shut for a long time now, but can't go on with it any more..so here I go.. FOSTERS, definitely most of the boozers would have heard about this. The fact is, it is one of the rejected brand in Australia. Fosters is actually a part of Victorian Brewery which has stopped making FOSTERS in australia. In fact aussies dont even know that such a beer existed.
I'm residing in melbourne, Aus currently. Pretty much, when I was going to australia the three things I could relate were: 1} Cricket - Australia's national game 2} Kangaroos 3} FOSTERS CRICKET - Australians hardly play cricket in the ground or have club matches unlike india or England. Their main game is FOOTY. It is similar to what we know in india as Rugby.
In fact, the australian national television doesn't even relay cricket matches for instance the HOLLAND series. Kangaroos - In 2 years, I have seen quite a few kangaroos but they were all dead one's lying in the freeway. Do you guys know that kangaroos are nocturnal? They actually don't look as cute as they look in the TV. A highly adored animal in australia are Koala Bears and trust me they are really cute and very domestic.
Australia is also known for poisonous spiders. FOSTERS - As I said earlier, it is a rejected beer. Unfortunately in most of the developing countries, rejected stuff from developed countries are easily accepted. It is sort of an illusion that imported stuff are all good. It is similar to the concept of outsourcing being done to India.
The jobs that are of not very great importance or strategic are never outsourced. Does USA outsource any of their strategic operations to India / China?? They would not do it in the future as well. Well. coming back to beers, Indian beers are really good.
They are not as light as German or Aussie beers. Keeping the climatic conditions in mind, people in cold countries should drink less beers than people in temperate countries. India is the right place to enjoy a desi (Kalyani Black Label)beer.
