Hi
I am a resident of Navi Mumbai. I had purchased 30th November, 2009. I am not an expert driver, but am confident with the driving. After two days of my purchase while parking there was a break problem, I had to bang the wall. Again on the fourth day I had just started the stearing blocked and with great difficulty it was stopped by usage of hand break. On sixth day on taking a u turn again the break failed and stearing blocked and I had dashed against a wagonor, I had to shell out Rs.2500/- for out of court settlement to avoid complications on lodging complaints. I complained to the dealer(Star Motors), Vashi and on test by engineers of tata motors I was told no fault. Again the same problem persisted and now I have left the car with the dealer for further course of action.
Whether the tata will bear my mental tension and financial loss. This I feel not a good start in my case. Hope and trust that tatas will do best to give a good onroad car. I have no alternative, but to blame my fate rather than to blame tatas. But even after the service being done if it is not upto mark, legal course will be the option for an exchange.
