My mother went through a cardiac valve replacement surgery in Fortis Bangalore. Operation went well. Nurses and support staff were at the best. No issues, with god's grace she is recovering well.
But, there is a chief cardiac surgeon named Vivek Jawali. He is one of the best surgeon and done a great job. Just that, please do not attempt to speak to him. He is the best with unconscious people and worst with the conscious people.
He is a great surgeon and we respect him as a surgeon but one thing he does not like is questions that too from relatives or attenders. Any anxious person who is spending 5 lacs and have their kin's life at stake will ask at least 1 or 2 questions. Please do not attempt it with Dr. Jawali. You will have a disappointed day.
Final note is, Dr. Jawali is a reliable and the best for the surgery and not for consultations. Please fix an appt with any other cardiac consultants if you want your questions answered in a personable manner.
