Went to this place for shoulder pain and immobility of the shoulder, of my mom in law. Overall we were told that there is cut in the shoulder muscle and it needs to be treated. Unless it is opened they will not know the scope of surgery. Expected expenditure from 1L to 1.5L.
My friend suggested to take second opinion. One of his friends from Columbia Asia suggested to take my mom in law to Dr Srinivas (who is an experienced and elderly person). We went there. The diagnosis and treatment -
He diagnosed and with 10-15mins he decided to give one injection in shoulder.
Explained everything what is he doing and what will be the impact.
Explained that post this no other medicines required. Just gave one pain killer that too if necessary.
Told to bring back the patient after one month just to check all is well and patient dose not have any other issue leftover.
Outcome - Within 15 mins of injection my mom in law could move here hand as normal. She still is able to use her hand in a perfectly normal way.
Total expenses - Injection and pain killer tablets - total INR125/-
Lesson - Always go for second opinion.
