Just Booked it . Review on Ford Ka

This time I am not just writing a review based on TD but I am writing for the CAR which I booked. it's 1.2 Zxi- Ford Figo

what made me make my decision on the Figo is followed as:

+ve

(1) Price - 4.31 for Zxi, which lags just ABS / Airbags / 6-way wiper from the top end (i.e.-TITANIUM).

(2) Big boot space in the segment (only exceptionally larger than VW-POLO) - 284 liters---simply WOW.

(3) 2-DIN in built stereo with bluetooth compatibility upto 4 phones.

(4) Height adjustable driving seat.

(5) Good inside fabric.

(6) Exceptionally strong AC (159cc compressor).

(7) Rear Defogger

(8) Rear Wiper.

(9) Body Coloured outside mirrors.

(10) Body Coloured Door handles.

(11) Electrically outside mirrors (both side).

(12) Radial and tubeless tires on all variants.

(13) Features are same in both petrol and diesel.

When u buy a car it's very difficult in finding any -ve about the vehicle but I still do think that FORD should do a bit more to make strong hold in the segment.

-ve

(1) Lack of automatic climate control in top end as well. - this is essential when one considering the compressor figo stays with.

(2) Rear window should be scrolled down to full - currently it doesn't scroll down more than 40% of the total.

(3) No rear power window.

(4) Suspension is though Ok but could be better - I guess VW-polo is the best hatch in this segment when look for suspension.

(5) No tilt steering in top end as well.

(6) No Split seats in rear.

(7) Bonnet opener should be in driver place (rather than at co-passenger side) when considering that boot opener is placed in the dash itself - just below the steering wheel in right side.

(8) wiper and indicators should be in accordance with RHD. currently they are opposite to the standard conventionals (same in VW-POLO as in FIGO).

What I look in a general hatch is easily matched in +ves, hence I choose the ford over others.

i do think maruti now has to look for the same as they are now making fool out of us by just raising their version prices w/o giving any further advancements in equipment.

The ride quality is suited for roads as in Delhi. the car picks up a bit tad slow if u compare this with Swift or Ritz but it's nearly perfect for Indian roads. Details would be followed once I received my vehicle by mid - April.
