Ford Ikon 1.6 - great car to drive, unbelievable dynamics, good road holding, and truly a drivers car. Best for spirited driving. The engine is free revving, has a good note and if the driver demands, it is more than willing to burn the tarmac.
Excellent back seat, the seating angle - position is good for long drives. If you have a chauffeur then it is the best car to be in. The position of the power window switches is terrible. You need to have that extraordinary ability to operate them.
It is not economical to run, gives poor mileage. At the most 9 kmpl in the city with AC on and that too on a light foot and around 12 kmpl on the highway at consistent 80 kms/hr. If you drive it fast always which you surely will, then you will need to have your own petrol pump!!
The driver seat is just about okay. Ford has made it truly for short drivers. If you are above 5'10" it is going to be cramped for you, and the leg space is bare minimum.
Mechanical are good, service it at regular intervals to avoid big bills at the service station. A reliable car but not the best anymore! You have many other better cars than this 'josh' machine. So buy it if you must!
