We have received a ‘Fuel Test Report’ for our vehicle no MH 04 BW 4043.
It is very surprising that, with regards to low average, Shakti Ford is ‘passing on the bug’ to second test which was carried on an isolated road and has just one signal on it. Also the time of the test was around 14.30, which is a totally off-peak hour. Also the area chosen for the test was isolated and there is hardly any dwelling seen on or by the road the road.
The second report does not indicate the details, which is there in the first report. And as per our representative the car mostly ran on 3rd, 4th and 5th gear with a minimum speed of 40 to 60 kms per hour. It is but obvious and natural that the Car will give a better average.
We are not at all satisfied by the test and the approach of Shakti Ford towards our issue of low average. As both the tests conducted by Shakti Ford are self contradictory. We are insatiate by Shakti Fords approach.
We also would like to inform and strongly suggest you that you have to educated and correct your sales team, dealers and all such other sale points including all types of visual and print media, who are claiming an average of 10 kmph in city and 13-14kmph on highway and expressways, that the average available is 6 kmph in city and 10kmph on highways and expressways.
We are serious about our suggestion to you, we also request you to keep us regularly updated about the action taken on your side with regards to our suggestion. Failing to do this will have no option left with us but to go in for legal course of action and also bring this to masses notice by writing to press and automobile related magazines.
We request you to finally suggest as to what needs to be done about our vehicle ‘s ambiguity about average and action taken on Shaman Ford, who had promised us an average of 10kmph on city road and 13-14kmph on highways, at the time of sale.
Awaiting your early reply.
Yours truly,
