Hello friends!i would like to say some points about flair,please dont misunderstand me.Though I was an user of maruti swift,i like this car very much and I wish to comment on it based on my test drivings I did before purchasing swift.Its a very comfortableand spacious than maruti esteem,tata indigo and fiat petra.Infact in some areas this car can very well beats the hyundai accent though engine is small.The beautiful accellaration offered by 1300cc rocam petrol engine of the car makes very comfortable pickup with silent cabin,powerful A/C,huge boot capacity,comfortable rear seats etc.Its pros are body rigidity,comfort,luxury,pricing,fun to drive,powerful engine and interiors too are very classy than esteems and indigo s.But cons are fuel inefficiency,service network.Though it has a powerful engine it is made of rocam robust alloys which are far heavily weighted than lighter alluminium engines(however,the smoothness lies in robust engines)due to this the efficiency of the car was 10 in cities and 15-16 on highways(however it wont be less than that).The dealer too was agreed with this mileage.Even service network too is not well with many comments.when we consider efficiency and service,maruti esteem stood in first place and indigo in second place.Esteem too is a good car to stand beside ikon.But,it seems just like bigger zen with only 1575mm of space with cramped low seats rather than ikons 1635mm comfortable seats. The price of ikon was 545000/- and esteem was 530000/-.the only 15000 difference is seen and hence ikon scores well on pricing.But ford vehicles too are most reliable cars than maruti .The pickup on A/C is powerful in ikon and can overtake on A/C freely,esteem cries to take pickup on A/C and should off the A/C on overtakings. Dear friends, I would suggest this car for the family with budget of 500000/-and who are not that much of mileage concerned but comfort. Dont worry its not going to be discontinued and will be coming in a CNG gas fitted by the company this year.The company is offering first insurance free worth rs 18000/-.for outright and additionally 3.5%payout on financed.you can bargain another 2-5000 from dealers.If you want a loaded one you can go for blast pack2 than blast pack 1 which seems costly.Go ahead and enjoy the flair.
