I am reviewing Ford Ikon josh machine 100 petrol.
Brought this car way back in 2004 and could hardly complete 30000 kms till date.
The only reason being that it consumes a lot of fuel and requires heavy maintenance which is not possible in this era of "fill it shut it forget it"
I have changed silencer 6 times till date, God know what goes wrong with after every 2 years or so.
I have got my left power windows repaired thrice once in free service and twice at my expense.
Mobile oil leaks constantly for no reasons.
Engine makes horrible sound as if its a diesel car, Even diesel cars nowdays are very very quite.
A lot of noise and vibrations can be heard inside even on smooth highways.
Servicing cost is to high when compared with my swift vdi.
Overall I am so tired of it that I wanted to sell it just after two years but Ford cars have no market value as such.
Imagine after two years of least usage and fully maintained car with one time tax paid and 11 months of insurance I was offered 1.5 lakhs for something where I invested 5.5 lakhs.
Its nothing but a mere waste of money.
