I have been using ford figo titanium since Nov, 2012.But I faced at least 42 problems in last 42 months.Tyre cracked within 7 days of use-compelled to pay 50% , excessive mobil oil consumption from the very beginning-forced to pay for the repair though the car was under warranty.But the problem persisted after the necessary corrections by ford.The car broke down 4 times till now.It became immobile first in Nov of 2012.The body got rust -repainted & finally four doors are replaced by ford.Horn failed at least by 10 times.Front view mirror detached from the wind screen at least by 5 times.Already I replaced battery, tyres, bearings, pulleys, belts etc.AC machine were repaired twice.Reported problems for air bag but no action had been taken yet.Door handles were not working properly & complained for 4 to 5 times.Roof pad detached & finally replaced by ford.Tyre thickness is reduced by 2mm within 10days of use .Mileage dropped sharply by 2 -3 km/litre within a month.Still the car does not have any defects-all due to pattern of usages & road condition-as par senior official of ford customer care.They claim all the parts are highly tested & having very good quality but experience proves that all components are of inferior quality but very costly.I paid rs750 for a plastic mobil gauge.User is not allowed to do any thing from outside as there is always threat of void of warranty.No one will find any contact information of any higher official of ford.They are all hidden.It is a very big brand on paper but my experience proves some thing else for car quality as well as company management.
