Okay, you can also look into my early reviews when it was below 5000 KM,

Back on this,

Just completed 31, 000 km and got the vehicle from third service last week. The service cost was around Rs 5700, and as regular there was engine oil change, wheel alignment and some oil filter change. The filter change was mandatory after 30k kms so it costs much higher compared to previous services.

FE:

The engine is running really smooth. There is no turbo lag and I'm getting FE around 17-19 kmpl in the city with a/c switching on/off sometimes and on highways around 22.5 kmpl with full a/c on. I generally fill diesel for Rs 1500 and my DTE shows 730 kms and in actual city run I'm getting around 690-720 kms. On highways the FE is far better.

Fuel Type:

Indian Oil company outlet's normal diesel gives atleast 30-40 km extra mileage compared to others. I have tried normal diesel from HP which had power but somewhat engine was rough, tried Bharat which was smooth than HP but didn't get good pickup. Of all these combination's I felt Indian oil was smooth, had good decent pickup & great mileage. But again I think it's all depends up on your area of filling. One may have different experience than others.

Performance:

On highways the vehicle is rock stable, have touched 140km/h and had seen slight steering lighten up. In city during bumper to bumper you can happily drive in 2nd/3rd gears. I generally don't change the gears too often as there is automatic cruse mode where engine without accelerating will maintain around 20km/h speed. This feature is really good in city traffic, as you need not press the clutch or accelerate very often. The 3rd gear I sometimes feel not really helpful as often I find myself in either 4th or in 2nd.

I took my Figo from Hyderabad to Coorg / Ooty / Kodaikanal and back to Hyderabad. The trip was really very good. The drive was excellent. I should say that even during uphill drive especially when you go from Bangalore to ooty through Bandipur national forest the uphill climb is very steep and if you get a vehicle from opposite side during a hair-pen bend then you generally will come to 1st gear so here too in this situation you could use the cruse mode where engine will take get you to the required minimum speed from where you get can just accelerate. Surprisingly when I went to Ooty I saw so many Figo's in Ooty which means people are able to drive it easily in hilly regions.

The tire air pleasure that I use for city driving is 37 front / 33 rare. For highways and when fully loaded I use around 41 front/36 rare as suggested in the manual.

If the speed is maintained around 80-100 kmph then you will see lot of good FE difference. I traveled from Bangalore to Hyderabad in 71/2 hrs including breaks with 120-130 kmph as avg speed and got FE for around 19-20 kmpl.

A/C chillness is a big plus for figo diesel. I have seen in swift/vista/fabia/i20 and didn't find any of them having really good A/C compared to figo. The i20 a/c was least effective.

Comforts/others:

I use it for going to my office daily and also for big trips to tourist places. The comfort levels are above average for a hatchback car. The seats may have been better.

Problems:

None until now. Little noise from rare window and front near steering which was easily resolved during service.

The floor mats got from ford are really waste of money as mine got holes in it after so many kms of drive. Better buy plastics floor mats from other vendors.

Goodies:

Bought leather seats / fog lamps from Mody Ford Hyderabad. They are very good have peace of mind.

What I will change:

Alloy wheels may be r15 size for improving ground clearance.

Tires after 40k run to some MRF etc to reduce tire noise coming into the cabin.

Extra bonnet noise filter to further reduce the noise coming into cabin.

I really recommend this vehicle for people who want good hatchback with excellent features and FE.
