Ford Figo Diesel Review after 60,000 kms. Review on Ford Figo

I have Ford Figo EXI diesel purchased in Jan 2011 and have completed 60, 000 kms and would like to share my journey with this wonderful car.

The main highlights of this car are:-

1)Very good ride, handling and comfort.

2)Gives awesome mileage of 18kms in city and 23-25kms in highways with 50% AC usage.

(Some people may say the mileage figures I am quoting are not true, but believe me this is the mileage I am getting from this car.)

Mileage mainly depends on the way you drive my commute per week is around 700kms out of which is 400kms is on highway and the rest 300 kms in Bangalore city.In highways I usually maintain a speed between 70-100kms and am getting this excellent mileage.

Also V less braking I do.No hard braking most of the times.

3)V powerful AC.

4)Low cost of maintenance.

5)V good visibility of road from the driver seat.

6)Huge boot

7)Awesome stereo given by ford.Now they have discontinued giving stereo for EXI model.

8)No problems with the car till date except regular serviceing which I usually give in 12000-13000 kms range

Two drawback:-

1)Front Mudflaps broke within 10000kms due to bangalore humps.Got the front mudflaps replaced by sparco mudflaps.

2)Ground clearance a bit low so maintain air pressure of 32psi for all tyres for 1-3 people.36psi front and 41 psi back for 4-5 people.You will not hit any humps.

Advice needed on  tyre replacement:-

Now I need  advice from all you folks as I need to replace the Stock tyres in another 5000kms say at 65000kms.My stock tyre is MRFZV2K and it has given me good service with very few punctures.But MRF tyres do not grip the road well tends to skid a lot during rainy days.Hence would not like to go with MRF tyres.

Now I want to replace my stock tyre with some superior brand like Yokahama\Michelin.

At the same time I want the tyres to give good service for another 60000-70000kms.My usage will include 50% awesome roads and 50% bad\OK roads.Should not have any puncture problem too.

Please advice which tyre should I go Yokahama Earth or Michelin?
