I waited for a long time to buy Swift 2011 but didn't find it as attractive as the old one & price was also on higher side.
I bought this car in Nov 2011 which had tilt steering & USB as a default package but instead had to miss seat height adjustment. zxi is almost fully loaded & I have added only sun film as accessory. Got 3rd year warranty as free.
Till date I have drove around 8500+ kms & 4 trips between Bangalore to Madurai, twice between Bangalore to mysore and once to Nandhi Hills.
Every feature in the car is just too good be it A/c, music system, blue tooth connectivity, comfortable seats, fold-able seats, remote boot open, boot open from inside at a click of switch and spacious interiors.
As written in many blogs/ reviews I never had problems with ground clearance; only once with 4 adult I scrapped a speed breaker otherwise never had any problem with this.
Head lights is good for city driving; can't comment on highway since never experienced night driving.
Space inside: More has been discussed on this and fold-able seats are boon if you are carrying lots of luggage.
Mileage: I get around 15 KMPL with A/C in Bangalore Traffic. Get around 18 to 25 KMPL depending on the speed maintained.
80-90 KMPH - 25+ KMPL
140 KMPH - 18 KMPL
Relaibility: Can't comment know, its only 8500 km & 5 months old.
Dealer Satisfaction: Bought at Akshaya Ford, Madurai and 1st service at Metro Ford Bangalore; never had any problems till now.
Comfort: Have done so much long trips never felt tired!
Looks: Doesn't have the looks of swift/ i20 but Ok for a family men.
Turbo lag: Absolutely no turbo lag in comparison with DDIS/ multijet.
Power: Only problem it will be very difficult to chase a swift/ ritz/ i20 with a good driver. Has the least power in the segment leaving out Beat!
I'm one happy owner of Figo; thanks to Ford for giving a nice car to India.
24k KMS update more than a year now! car is rock solid, no issues of now. Engine stalling problem happened 3/4 times; upgraded the firmware for the ECM; no issue in last 5k KMS. Headlights are good for night driving too! Good experiences at the FASS too!
