Value for money satisfied. Review on Ford Figo Aspire

I was searching for a car which matches my requirement as 4 adult and 1 child should sit comfortably, it should have very good safety features, should be fuel efficient.

Initially I went for Baleno which was newly launched features were good, space was good but once I had test drive I was confirm that this isn't I am looking for the budget of Rs.9.5 lacs(Top Disel) then I again searched with the specification I wanted and found Aspire.

The delivery was within 15 days with Dec 2015 manufacturing. I have traveled 1800 km in 27 days all heavy crowded city ride with an average diesel consumption of 19km per liter and my average km per hour is 25k, I do not have paining leg, backache, can move on rough roads shock absorbers good, nearly no sound of diesel engine, 6 airbags top in class, tough body dashed to swift Dezire nothing to my car but Dezire shooked. Sync feature is good for office communication can handle easily. Looks are later than specification, still happy with looks. Await 1st service to know service cost.

Overall Aspire is value for money. While I thought to purchase Ford my friends suggested it do not have resale value. I said I am purchasing it to use and not to sell.

I had first servicing done February ford service center do check for any issues which is system controlled they attach a laptop to the car which has an app to detect any mechanical fault and only rectify those. The only target area is to service the defective, faculty system I the car. The servicing was free and got the vehicle same day. Total service cost Rs.0/-

I had tested the top speed of the vehicle on Mumbai - Pune road it clocked 180kmph. Met with an accident with other car brushed on my cars right side while I was at speed of 90kmph, the mirror broked, side doors had brushing marks, immediately gave to insurance which was bumber to bumber total bill was 24k, but due to insurance I had to pay only Rs.2000/- of which 1k was for processing charges, and 1k for gum, grease, polish which is not included in insurance.

on 30th April 2016 I had my second service at 9600km exactly after 4 months of purchase.All things were carried according to service manual carrying 12-13 points to check ie. filter and oil changed, wheel alignment, oiling n greasing, cleaning the vehicle, other my individual issues were resolved and handed over to me same day. Total cost was Rs.4700/- which I feel is fine for Aspire's top diesel version. Happy with the service. Vehicle moves like rocket now. My avg. kmpl shows 19.6kmpl considering 9600km. 85% I travelled in city and 15% in expressways.

Happy with overall vehicle, performance, service charges etc.

Note: If you want to reduced fuel consumption and increase economy drive vehicle on 5th gear and speed not faster than 80-85kmph, you can surely get an avg of 23-24kmpl, same if you travel by not using clutch and break for a very long distance you can get milage of 48kmpl. check on youtube.

I have no regret that I bought this car.

My car just completed her 1st year had 2 small accidents with door thrashed and a major one in December.

Frankly after my december accident I am very confident that my choice was absolutely safe and best for my family.

Met with an accident when I was returning from a very long journey travelling around 550km in a day. I was travelling with a speed probably more than 100kmph with my seatbelt on, wife just took her seatbelt and my daughter sleeping behind it was afternoon 6.45pm.

I dashed roughly to an Innova which abruptly put break as his preceder did there were 3 cars collusion back to back and I being third. Front 2 Airbags came out and I did even thought that I met a terrific accident my wife was not wearing seatbelt dashed her head on the front glass which broke but within that time her airbags also did open and she was sage. Daughter felled form the seat with little internal injuries.

CONCLUSION Its the safest car which I purchased dont have any other car experience.

In an year I travelled a lot 26000 km with car in garage for 2 months in 3 accidents. After insurance 3 claims which also costed me 75k from my pocket am fine with pocket and happy that we are safe. DRIVE SAFE.

Regarding maintenance one can assume at least for 1st year it will not go beyond 15k considering 30k km travelled in an year. Car maintenance is like 1st- after 5000km and thereafter every 10000km

3 years and 1 month complete 75000 km, average km per litre 18.5 in city traffic. Seems engine noise has increased a little bit, can be heard at drivers end, co passengers still feel no noise.

I daily cruse on the roads rest follows.
