STABILITY: At first, I was worried about the stability of the vehicle due to its 175/65/R14 tyres which are usually fitted for hatchbacks as its other rivals have 185/60/R14 and R15 tyres. But the car is so stable that you don't feel loosing the ground while cornering too!
FYI, Honda Amaze has same 175/65/R14 tyres.On paper Honda Amaze and Ford Figo Aspire are similar cars wrt specifications BUT differ practically in most of the aspects.
BREAKING: Breaking is Great.
Front wheels are fitted with ventilated discs& the rear ones have standard drum brakes. An anti-lock braking system(ABS) along with electronic brake-force distribution(EBD) mechanism is offered in my Titanium Plus trim. EBD comes into picture when you apply brakes at higher speeds. During this period you will feel something dragging your car and arresting the motion of the car with a sound clearly audible to the driver which indicates EBD is active!.
SAFETY: Titanium Plus trim has 6 airbags in total.The cars doors are automatically locked ASA the speed crosses 20Kmph which seems a great safety measure. Perimeter alarm is an awesome feature! Unfortunately, this doesn't recognise 2nd(spare) key when inserted and still rang alarm to my surprise when primary key was misplaced for a while.
Top Speed: All reviewers claim that this is the ONLY compact sedan with a top speed of 177 Kmph. I've sensed 180 Kmph on Bangalore - HYD Express Highway with extreme ease!

GEARBOX: Gear shift is very smooth! You never knew on what gear you are cruising until you look at your odometer! People around you will never feel you are cruising at 100Kms/hr until they look at odometer! 3rd Gear is fantabulous& DOESN'T REQUIRE a gear shift to lower gears while in traffic and can comfortably move on at low speeds as well as smoothly cruises to 60Kmph with no niggle!
MILEAGE:
Drive Exactly 70Kms/hr your car gives you 30Kms/liter
Between 85 till 90Kms/hr it still gives you 35Kms/Liter
100 till 105 Kms/hr it gives you an ultimate mileage of 45Kms as per the Odometer approximation!
Around 80Kms/hr your car gives you at least 24Kms/Ltr. This figure is Close to ARAI certified mileage!

MY(MILEAGE) EXPERIENCE:
TEST 1:
The Total Capacity of Tank is 40 Liters. Filled tank till brims in Hyderabad. Fuel Indicator pointed to full. The Indicator meter is divided into 4 sections 10 liters each approximately. When I travelled 540 Kms on Highway with almost on 5th gear to my surprise, diesel consumed was close to HALF TANK! Average mixed mileage is~ 25.5 KMPL!
TEST 2:
Travelled 227 Kms on HIghway town(15Kms), Fuel Consumed was EXACTLY 1/4th the tank i.e 10 liters~ 23 Kmpl
A/C Performance: A/C is fantastic. Absolutely NO Complains wrt performance BUT One disappointment is, this high end version doesn't have Rare A/C Vents unlike Honda City yet here is the catch Honda city Lower end Diesel Version Price starts from 9 lakhs!
FM Radio: Haven't seen such a GREAT FM SETUP yet in recent times! It is so powerful that HYDERABAD 98.3 FM remained connected till I drove 300Kms!
Bangalore 98.3 FM remained connected till 180Kms!
To my surprise When I was travelling Via a Ghat in Andhra Pradesh where chennai is 314 Kms away, Vijayawada is 405 Kms away, Bangalore is 254 Kms away, all 3 FM Stations were interfering one another on same frequency with each of them alternating as I passed by! So, finally, FM is TERRIFICALLY BRILLIANT! Haven't sensed an FM of this splendor.
Bluetooth SYNC: You just need to sync your mobile's Bluetooth once and switch on your Bluetooth every time when ever you get into the car to remain connected(automatically) to make /receive calls!
iPhone is FORDS Favorite mobile! Its SYNC app gels better with iPhone rather than any other fone!
Overall Interior Aesthetics: REAL BANG FOR THE BUCK! Compared the interiors with Honda City Diesel(SV). Honda stands No where near wrt interiors. Honda still uses CHEAP 2 piece door locking system where as Ford uses Modern single piece locking system!
EXCEPT it has GREAT LEG Room Compared to Ford! BUT Ford is classed under Compact Sedan(SUB 4 Meter) Whereas Honda City is >4 meter.
MAJOR Disappointments:
NO AUTO-LOCK!
NO Rear Vents!
Standard Lamps provided as FOG Lamps!
FORD Doesnt have ASPIRE listed on its Google play store app "Ford Owners"!
Petty Disappointments:
The LEG SPACE is EXACT for a 5.9' tall guy! NOT Comfortable for me(6.1' tall) unless some one who is 5.8' rides the car on drivers seat.
No bottle holders on rear doors! NO Bottle holder on rear Arm Rest too!
359 liters of boot is sufficient for a family of 4 or 5. The boot has little space EXACTLY at the back of the seat which could have been moved back further to increase LEG SPACE(comfort level) which seems a minor flaw from my(amateur) point of view. May be designers(Engineers) have a different idea their I suppose!
NO RAIN SENSING Wipers!
THE ROCKER PANEL, bottom of the door is NOT MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL unlike my old car instead made of ABS PLASTIC! My car already has a DENT from a biker!:( Maybe this is a weight cutting measure by ford but burns your pocket for every small dent!

Hang around AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE to have look at your NEW CAR. Else, you will have to repent for the missing accessories they may intentionally/unintentionally miss it and blame it on you if you come back on later time!
DON'T BE IN A HURRY or Shopping spree to accept everything sales advisors suggest! Especially, DO NOT BUY Essential Kit worth 5500/-. They just cost you <1500/- at JC Road, Bangalore!

Make sure to buy Insurance ONLINE. I've paid 1500/- in excess by calling them over phone! Instead you could invest 1500/- buying a Door Visor or Body Cover etc BUT REMEMBER TO ENQUIRE WITH DEALER if he/she allows you to buy from anywhere else as they lose commission close to 20% till 30%.
(If dealer accepts take Chasis Number and share it with the insurer online/phone! BUT better first look at the car for any missing inventory, Used marks, Dents, Scratches, Tyres(Date oF MANUFACTURING) personally and make a note of the chasis number.
- Whether you are an experienced driver or not BETTER BUY BUMPER TO BUMPER INSURANCE ie NIL Depreciation insurance. Better check which insurer allows you more number of claims per year!
Nil Depreciation Insurance: Zero depreciation cover is usually available on new cars and mostly do not cover cars that are more than three years old. The premium is slightly higher in my case 5500/- excess than standard motor policy.
SAFETY Tips:
ITS RECOMMENDED NOT TO FILL TANK TO FULL BETTER LEAVE SOME EMPTY SPACE UNLESS you are testing mileage!
Never Fill fuel while car is running Fuel may exert pressure from inside of fuel tank and may harm you and car too!.
PETROL DENSITY varies by RISE in TEMPERATURE so, better top up while temperature is COLD for correct quantity. Diesel doesn't have such vast density variations.
