I rented ford aspire from "Revv-self drive" and liked its engine so much so that I immediately went to ASTRO FORD DWARKA SEC-5 dealership along with my friend in the weekend.
But to my surprise all the RM's were busy flirting with desk girl and I had to repeatedly tell them to show me the car and its features etc.
After 15 minutes one guy came and this f*cker simply asks me about which model I want to buy and then shows me this Rate Card of diff models.No features explaining nothing.
tells me that sir please select fast next month the prices will be increased and please get insurance from liberty, they are the best.
I simply headed straight to the door seeing their customer handling.All these online and offline reviews about ford dealers and worst ownership experience are indeed true. On my way back I felt like being insulted.
Never going back to any ford showroom no matter what they offer. Even if FORD offers a tank to its customers free of cost.no one is going to buy it.
Maruti hyundai offers bad cars with high price but the way they are connected to emotions of their customers is the sole reason for their success. F*K YOU FORD
About the car:-
Pros;- engine, dock, front seats, front looks and that's it nothing else is good in this car
CONS;-
1) its auto lock/central lock defies the purpose of lock. It can always be unlocked while on the go. biggest danger to safety.
2) while you open or close the window, whole side body panel gets shifted. Never saw such cheapness in cheapest car even.
3) back seat is long but not wide enough and your thighs will always be wanting for a little more length of this seat.
4) Its doors are thin, give you feeling as you are opening tata's NANO Door
5) In night drive we saw its headlights are not strong enough to cope up with the speed its engine can take you to. In short poor visibility
6) No back seat AC vent
7) Glove box space. In fact every time you open glove box you have to adjust your legs first. Irritating thing. Also no option for chilled glove box to take care of your beers.
8) Speaking of beers, you all have to hold it in hand. Why? Only one bottle holder can hold the beer bottle(rear ac vent space wala). rest 2 can hold disposable glasses. That's it.
9) Very small and thin tires. Car will be okay in any speed but only in a straight line.
I once tried overtaking cutting corners and this car didnt handle at all. More so the noise that it generated gave me chills(NO I didnt applied the brakes) Very dangerous thing. Ford gives 15-16 inch nice and wide tires in same models for europe but not india.
TO FORD: Right pricing with cheap tires, interiors, doors, door locks wont make a cut for you.
BIGGEST of all- You dont know how to treat customers, and we just pay back. Invest 10 billions more and your cars will still not sell.Think it over.why!
