Hi friends,
I like to share my unfortunate experience with the Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCI.
I own a 2008 model ZXI diesel version the car was good in its style and space and it do was iconic head turner at some place but it all turned upside down for me when my car coolant pump broke down and then it all started.
1st coolant pump failure(repair done - Rs.7000).
2nd coolant color changed from blue to black(sludge found in coolant tank - Rs. 2500 for cleaning tank and radiator).
3rd the engine head had gone and the coolant hole was blasted to larger size(repair done- Rs.86000).
After all the above said repair has been done with my car, the AC failed to chill and I got smell of oil when ever I start the car. I never use to cross 80km/hr speed and I use to avoid ac s it strains engine. the head of engine bit my finger when my car clocked just 65000 km.
I dont know if this problem is in all the fiesta model or I just got an unlucky car out of the stock
Please do go for an re opinion before buying the Fiesta. It may be a pocket burner for you.
