Bought this car in Dec 2018. I had an Opel Corsa Petrol from 2011 till now, was looking for replacement with Diesel for the same. I had tried every option in the market right from Dzire, WRV, Creta, Ecosport. I really liked the engine performance of Ford, since recently I had driven Figo Aspire, one of my friends car, simply Superb performance.
That really pushed me towards Ford Ecosport. I enquired Cauvery Ford Magadi Road and Metro Ford Palace Road BLR. Cauvery Ford response was very poor. Metro Ford was good. So I booked the car and had to negotiate very hard for discounts, finally got a decent ones. The delivery was quick within 10 days, I had opted for Canyon Ridge Colour. I didn't buy any accessories from showroom because it would cost bomb.
Till date I have driven 2500 KMS, amazing performance, engine is smooth, AC is very effective, ride quality is excellent, maneuverability is excellent, speakers are terrific, reverse parking sensor with camera is very good, Mileage is exceptionally good for the size of the vehicle, I get 15-16 km in city with AC and highway 21 with AC(under 100km drive due to engine break-in until 10000 KMS)
The facelift model is too good when compared to old one and best in market, the new alloy wheels are attractive, the color is also impressive. The build quality is sturdy and very good. Seats are big and comfortable, it gives a good support to the thighs as compared to other vehicles. I had driven 1500 kms on highway for 3-6 days period, my entire family was very comfortable with the drive.
I did my first service at 2500 kms, I need to wait to see the next few services to know and understand the quality and cost factor
Pros: Excellent vehicle with loaded features, Price is decent, build quality is good, you don't feel its a diesel engine no sound inside, quality is remarkably good, seating is comfortable, mileage is awesome, AC is powerful, 2 power outlets one in front and another in rear.
Cons: 1. Boot space is little congested and small as expected, since its a Compact SUV. 2. No rear AC vents 3. No Apple Car Play & Android Auto 4. Ford Mykey option is available only from Titanium+ onwards models
