I was travelling from Delhi to Kiev( Ukraine) with a stopover of 3 hrs at Dubai. I had 1 cabin luggage and 1 big bag as a check in luggage in January 2015. I checked in from Delhi and got both my boarding passes from Delhi only and my baggage was checked directly to Kiev. The flight takes around 13 hrs in total. When I reached Kiev and went for my baggage towards baggage belt, around waiting for almost 1 hour I went to customer service desk and asked them about my bag. They told me that it has not yet come from Dubai and I can get my baggage after two days. I was very angry as I have to go to other city and again come back in 2 days. There were 2 more guys from same flight who have faced the same problem. The next day I got a call from airline that they cannot find my luggage so I have an option of taking compensation or file a case against airline. I asked them for compensation and got it within a month. The compensation amount was OK. I got approx 93000 INR against my claim of 1.5lacs.
After this I never travelled in Flydubai again.
