Background:
First of all, I would like to say I am regular buyer and valued customer of Flipkart before I experienced worst commitment from them as incident described below. They are not ready to do justice to me hence, I am forced to write this.
Products I have bought till date:
Order ID: OD21129121762 -> Radar Case -> 29nd Nov’2012 -> 420 INR
Order ID: OD40722182254 -> Moto G -> 22nd July’2014 -> 13, 989 INR
Order ID: OD40731156624 -> Moto G -> 31st July’2014 -> 11, 999 INR
Order ID: OD40813145100 -> Moto G -> 13th Aug’2014 -> 11, 999 INR
(I have not received SBI 10% Cashback on order no. OD40813145100, till date!)
- Order ID: OD200941852154657100 -> Moto X -> 6th Oct’2014 -> 17, 999 INR
(I have not received Standard Charter 10% Cashback on order no. OD200941852154657100, till date!)
Total value of goods that I bought till date is 56, 404 INR
My Concern:
- I called Flipkart customer care on 5th October’2014 evening from my number+91 9820018718(you can search your records for proof), I asked customer care executive that tomorrow is Big Billion Day sell(6th October’2014), so can I get 10% discount as advertise if I use my standard charter credit card on my entire cart value? He said yes, upto max 1500 INR. Then I asked him that what if I pay partial amount by my EGV(Electronic Gift Voucher)? He said you will get 10% off on remaining amount.
Further I clarified that if for example I buy moto X at 20000 INR, I pay using EGV 2000 then can I get 10% on remaining 18000 INR? He said YES
With this information, I went and bought EVC from my credit card company website as I have had points that can be redeemed into EGV of Flipcart.
Next day that is 6th October’2014(Big Billion Day Sell), I bought Moto X for 17999 INR, I paid 2000 using my EGV and rest 16000 using my standard charter credit card.
Now I should get 1500 INR as cash back(10% of 16000, max 1500), however I am fighting with Flipkart customer care since 8th October Service Request. No. 141006-104080 and 141012-079994
They refuse to give me credit.
- Point here is your customer care officer informed me about this, after which I bought EGV and now yourself is denying to give me credit, this is ridicules.
I am writing you to inform that I seek your guidance and help in this.
Next Step:
I have raised this concern at various consumer forum blocks and I am going to write this upto PM blog and respective person for such unlawful, misleading information to customer if I will not get justice from you.
