strong text I bought a Phillips DVD player for Rs 2940 from Flipkart in July 2014. The player was defective and poor in quality. I wrote to them and they promptly got it collected. Immediately I had to go to USA for 4 months. I wrote to them to keep the return pending as I would order a new DVD Player in October 2014 on return from USA.
After my return in October 2014, I wrote to them to send me a Sony DVP-SR660P/BCIN5 DVD Player. This may be adjusted in my Rs 2940 already with Flipkart. Balance if any, would be paid as cash on delivery.
I provided them the details of dispatch and return in October'14. It has been over one month, I am corresponding with them and they are not responding. They asked me the details of delivery, which were provided immediately. After this they are absolutely quiet. They have neither sent me any debit voucher for Rs 2940/- nor a cheque for refund.
Flipkart neither want to refund nor send me a debit note for Rs 2940/- for a DVD player that was returned 4 months ago. I always had high opinion about Flipkart that it was a well managed modern Indian mail order company, but the way they have dealt with me for refunding mt Rs 2940/-, flips the dark face of Flipkart.
Intentions of FLIPKART are magnified and such acts are making people like me lose faith in Indian mail order companies, who reflect their image as good business house but in reality the story is different.
