How Flipkart uses loopholes to escape service

Boasting about its brand name is what Flipkart is famous for. And they definitely know how to attract customers by doing so. But. I would like to make my fellow shoppers aware of the other side of Flipkart


I'm sure everyone visits Flipkart Amazon etc to compare products and choose the best bargain. But probably that's the mistake we all make by going after cheap bargains and trusting Flipkart on their policies. Basically Flipkart works by adjusting Price with quality compromised. I bought a cookware set from flipkart which seemed like a steal deal for the day. Which was delivered fine packed well and looked great. So the product looked too good to place a return within 10 days of purchase. However I started using the cookware on around 12th day where I found the color of the nonstick cookware peeling! and also leaving the color on the gas burner! The product was marked as "Flipkart Assured" Which is more hyped to be relied on to buy a product without giving a second thought. which defines the product has been quality checked 6 times! I dont understand What quality check they run to not spot such a defect which should catch attention in First Quality check itself!


So then is when I emailed Flipkart with images and requested a replacement. but they didn't revert as promised by them on their website. So however I chose to call after not having heard from them So there were basically 4 calls I'd attended


First I was said to be provided the best possible solution


Second I got a call saying that there is no solution to provide and no replacement


Third again said to be provided with a best solution


Final Denial for every help


When asked them to be considerate about the exceptional returns they just talk like a recorded message. which is very frustrating.


So readers you would be wondering. Where is the loophole?


Flipkart reaches to us like a popular selling brand. but when they have to answer for the defects they put forward the sellers name shielding themselves. While I dont know the seller. Very smoothly they try escaping with the term "middlemen". While I asked the floor manager if Flipkart is just a Courier Service the answer I get is "YES" so basically trying to show they have no obligations for after sales service


I must say though Flipkart is always compared to Amazon. They dont stand anywhere near Amazon trust me. They can never reach at par with Amazon. As Amazon is always willing to serve in the best possible way


I will try and publish an article in other websites too to spread awareness


Further I'm attaching few pictures of the product after using just once.
