Great Experience the Second time around. Review on Flipkart

I've had a fantastic experience with Flipkart on my second try.

My 1st experience with Flipkart was a disaster(see earlier review if possible- either mouthshut lets you write only 1 review per product or I havent figured out the system). Incompetent service, promise of delivery on international editions of books they could'nt access, no proper responses from customer service people. They delivered 2 of the 3 books ordered and completely forgot about the 3rd until I contacted them to ask what was going on. At which point they cancelled my order for the book. It took Flipkart more than 2 months to decide they could'nt deliver a book they committed to sending in 21 business days, so I didnt trust them to send me back my money in 14 days, and asked for store credit instead.

Went back to Flipkart with a view to using up the store credit and giving them a second chance, and I am amazed at the superb service I received this time. It was almost like I was doing business with a different company.

I deliberately DID NOT order anything marked'international edition' and received all but 1 book well before committed days and without having to call customer service even once. This time they even cashed my cheque and processed my order without any reminders. I was pleasantly surprised, even more so when I received a message informing me of a delay because they were trying to source 1 book from abroad because they're regular suppliers didnt have it.

Great experience this time, I can't believe I'm dealing with the same company. So 1 dead loss(first try) and 1 superb sucess(second try). I guess I will have to try a 3rd time to know what Flip kart is all about - 2 out of 3 results will give me the real picture. Hope it works out the 3rd time as well.
