I was a great flipkart fan when I started using their book portal. the service was just too good to believe. With cash on delivery there was no problem of being cheated. The books used to arrive as if they flew from the store to your doorstep. I then started ordering other stuff as well online. I ordered a digital voice recorder which took 16 days to deliver. I ignored it since I was not in a hurry to get it and felt it was one bad day at the office. I recently ordered a sony vaio. It did not arrive as expected.
I started tracking the order and realized that it was at Wadala, Mumbai. I stay around 3 kms from Wadala. I thought it will arrive in 24 hours. For next 3 days nothing happened. I then sent an email. I was told delivery will now be expedited and I should receive it in 2 days. I asked why 5 days for 3 kms? No reply. I sent an email to cancel it. I got a call next day asking my address. Again no delivery. I finally cancelled it after waiting for 17 days. 17 days for delivering a laptop!
They have become complacent which is a tragedy as their service was really good. So stay away from flipkart unless you need to buy books.
