I have ordered books from flipkart on several occasions and they still continue to pleasantly surprise me. In my college days, if a book was not available in the regular bookstores, we used to go to Gangarams on MG Road. Now its Flipkart. Simply amazing collection, they have every book I have every heard of under their roof. Plus who doesn't like a good bargain. Almost all the books have a very competitive discount - Have never seen Sapna/Crossword/Gangarams and other reputed shops give any discount.
The delivery is very prompt - for eg: my last order was placed yesterday at 4:16 pm and 10 am today morning the book is at my door. No courier charges is an added bonus.
Have not bought any gadgets from them yet but the pricing of mobiles etc is much better when compared to Ezone/Univercell/Sangeetha. Should be a good experience.
Overall, a very positive experience to online shopping in India!
