Cheating by not replacing products, Worst Customer service
I ordered a Gliders Golf Shoes from flipkart (https://flipkart.com/gliders-golf-walking-shoes/p/itmdm9grymgvaw9z?pid=SHODDHYP
8ZHMZGZR ) when they were running 30% off few days back. I ordered Black color size 9 for around 280 rupees.
I received it few days later and saw that the size was big for me. Immediately I called Flipkart customer care toll free and asked them to replace it. Customer care informed that somebody would call me in 24 hours to speak.
A Flipkart employee called me next day and said same product next size is not available and hence I would be refunded to wallet (their way of forcing you to purchase again from Flipkart and deal with shitty customer service!).
I said product is available in different color - gray and brown. So send me replacement in that color. Guy says thats not allowed. I asked him to read Flipkart exchange policy. He informed that he would call back in few minutes. Never heard back from him!!!

How do I request an exchange? What should I return along with the original item?
If you are not satisfied with the fit of the product, you can exchange it within 30 days of delivery at no extra cost. You can seek an exchange of a different size or color. Alternatively, you can return the product for Flipkart Wallet Credits which can be used to place a fresh order.
Please contact us with your exchange request within 30 days from the date of delivery. The original item will be recalled and an exchange will be shipped to you.

I contacted customer care again after sometime and explained entire situation. This guy initially says different color replacement is not possible and he'll refund. I pointed out the exchange policy and asked him to honour it. He agrees to replace and we spend next 15 minutes discussing replacement details and I go to my desktop to see colors, before he drops a bomb and says I can't place order.
I then asked to speak to his manager and gave him a piece of mind. He says that product is being discontinued across all colors and it takes 24 hours for actual product availability to reflect on website! (WOW! What sh**). I believe him and he agrees to refund money directly to credit card after I insisted.
I waited for two days for somebody to come and pickup product. No body came. I again called up and they say they are taking my request as high priority and arrange pickup for returned product same day. Didn't happen!!
I happened to be glancing flipkart.com website and saw that the colors which were supposed to go out of stock are actually in stock and they are even adding sizes that were previously out of stock after increasing price from 280 to 399 rupees. (SO THEY WERE CLEARLY LYING) I called up Flipkart and gave a piece of mind to a different manager who did not know return policy or bother to understand even after I actually read it out to him word-for-word from Flipkart website.
I then had to make him read the Exchange policy and asked whether he was aware of the policies of the organization he was working for or not. I also pointed out what other people in previous calls had said and asked everyone seem to be fooling customers by not following Exchange policy.
He is supposed to call me back (He said in 1-2 hours) several hours back but no call came. Looks like Flipkart lost the trust it built last few years. I can't believe in 1 year Flipkart service has become so bad!
I am no longer planning to buy any costly items from them and advise you to avoid them, since they are becoming like Shopclues which has return policy only on paper.
Don't buy from Flipkart to avoid mental harassment and being cheated by a good looking 30 days exchange policy which is no longer followed in practice!
