My friend and me bought a Lenovo vibe K5 Note from Flipkart few days back for him ( 1010821242207416037) . Right from day 1, he was facing issues w.r.t its fingerprint sensor. He though it could be because of software issues or his fingers not getting detected properly.
We waited for 7 days and tried many combinations of fingers with my friends also trying to register their finger on my mobile and trying to unlock it.
Result was same: Fingerprint sensor is working only 5 out of 10 times i.e 50% of the times, it's not picking the fingerprints properly.
I called flipkart and asked for a return or replacement. I was told to wait for a day so that their technician ( probably a 12th pass guy who just knew how to reset the phone) could visit and see the problem. The technician visited, did a hard reset and told me their is a problem with fingerprint sensor. He will tell his boss to process the refund as their was no replacement available for the model we bought. But their was no refunding when we called flipkart they said it was rejected but didnt say the reason we are calling them every day but they are telling us to visit a lenova service center so please dont belive flipkart
