I placed an order ID OD30605070421 on flipkart for Sony Xperia on 05/06/2013. The same started showing the same shipped from Delhi the same day but didn't reach Gwalior ever. I called their helpline regularly and was informed every time you will get it by tomorrow.
After one week I cancelled it and called for refund. They never replied to my complaints even once and only I have to reach them on phone and wait on long holds after someone form the call centres can come out with manipulated argument that the same will be refunded in a day or two. Till today the money has not been refunded and whenever I call them I am turned away with foolish excuses.
I have by far realized two things:
one that once you place an order the company is not going to refund your amount despite their own failure. in this case some employee of their purloined the item on way and now they are eager to charge me for their failure.
two none should order accessories like cell phone, camera [as in case of my order of Nikon Coolpix L28 order ID OD30607003599 similar was the case and I have to fight from them to claim replacement after 15 days] and similar ready to use electronics as the same is hooked off enroute and the company disappears at the point with clear intentions to charge the customers for their own errands.
