I approached them on cs@flipkart.com or a request of converting my GV's to wallet money. I thought they will be ready to help customer making sure customer is first & topmost priority for a website which created waves over last 2 years in online shopping. Never thought I will face one of the most pathetic and rude customer service from a well known brand name.


As I had 3 GV's of Rs. 500 each which I wanted to convert into wallet money of Rs. 1500. They started with their process saying they can only do so if GV's are more than 3. I kept requesting them for one off change so as to make sure I as a customer feels good, but they were not ready for same. Finally I asked for their next level and after much reluctance I was given contact ID as grievance.officer@flipkart.com


I mailed the Grievance office on that ID and got the same response as from the customer support. I felt weird as I expected something better and bigger from somebody from higher authroity but they just seem to be in their own world and don't want to deviate even 1% to make customer happy


Finally today I got a call from Chinappa from Grievance team and even though the conversation started mildly, the person didn't turn out to be customer oriented. When I as a customer was telling him the issue I have at my end, he said its your personal matter and I am not interested to listen to that. This just took the conversation out of bounds and I am sure they can be even more rude as they actually don;t care about customer feeling and customer satisfaction.


I asked him to provide me email ID of the owner/CEO of Flipkart and he denied.


How can I say anything good about a company whose owner(he must remember he is the owner and CEO of a successful company till he has customers) does not want any mails from customer. Either he is very arrogant or he thinks he is the topmost person in this country that any mail from a customer will bring his dignity to a low level.


Personally I am really unhappy with their service and these are my views. Others surely can differ from my views.


I will recommend people to stay away from such organizations who have a big attitude issue and make them realize their real worth, i.e. THEY ARE NOTHING WITHOUT A CUSTOMER.
