Fake Offer
I purchased 2 Samsung phones today from Flipkart using the SBI bank offer for 10% off. As soon as I placed the order, after 2 minutes the order was cancelled from your end. Now the money is out from my account and the order is cancelled. It takes around 8 days for the money to be credited in my account.
Called up Customer care and they asked me to place a fresh order ignoring the fact the it is 2 mobile phones which cost good amount of money and not some 100Rs order which I can simply place again.
Stupid Reasons for Cancellation given by the Customer Care:
You cant place 2 mobile phones order at one time. Fair enough! Then why dint it stop me before placing the order?
The seller has cancelled the order! Well, that's not my problem- you post something on your website which you are suppose to fulfill.
The last reason was given by some senior which was the best reason-Probably the seller has cancelled because we cannot offer at that price, or some pricing issue. Which means using the SBI card offer the price which it came down to cannot be offered from your end. Which means fake offers are being advertised.
I told the customer service that I am fine placing a new order. However I have already used my SBI card so I cannot make use of this offer again. Since one card can be used only once. I advised him that I will place new order with COD, but give me the phones for the same price which I ordered. Obviously they cannot this or that or anything rather. All they can do is apologise but no solutions at all.
Above all the customer care person was not ready to share the seniors name. I have asked for a call back and still waiting for it.
Pathetic Customer Service! Fake Offers! No solutions given!
I would suggest people not to make big offers on Flipkart! They will take your money and then cancel the order and then they will say we will refund within 8 days which is of no use.
