I have been purchasing from flipkart several times. This was the first big purchase I made which has ended in a disaster.
I purchased a Nokia X2 on 18 Nov. The delivery was a promised etc. Now after trying out the phone, it hangs and doesn't work as advertised. I checked with Nokia customer care and they said they couldn't help us there is no updated software. The only option given was to download Office 365 for Rs. 360 a month and every month keep renewing the paid subscription.
I requested Flipkart for a refund. I received a call from a customer representative of theirs who was Giggling away when I said I need a solution for the the problem. She informed that only a replacement could be received and if it was an "Apparel or sunglasses she could request for refund".
My problem is that this is an 8000 rupee phone which doesn't serve my purpose I even suggested if it could be replaced with another phone that I would buy from flipkart it self. But still no.
Now just because it was my fault for selecting the nokia x2 phone and flipkart cannot refund my money or they could put the money in my wallet and I could buy another phone I have to suffer the loss of Rs. 8000 and never use this phone again and now buy another phone by spending more money.
Buying this phone on flipkart has cost me a loss of not only 8000 Rupees but additional money for another phone as Flipkart.com is unable to help.
I would suggest people not to buy phones from Flipkart.com.
