Went to Flags after reading about it in Times Guide for Pune
The location is right next to INOX.
The menu is huge and there is a large variety of items on offer
I had the following:
1) Buffalo Wings(starter) - according to description on the menu, fried chicken wings smothered in traditional hot BBQ sauce. The cost was Rs 150 and the item was pathetic. First it came with a bone and there was nothing hot about it. Avoid this.
2) Hmyit-Kyaw(starter) - according to description on the menu, crunchy vegetables stir fried in a spicy paste. The cost was Rs 150. The item was quite good, medium spicy to my taste, somewhat sweet and sour. The portions were big and it was quite tasty.
3) Polo Chicken Mexican(starter) - ordered it on waiter's recommendation and it also turned out to be a great item. No description and cost available since this item was not listed on the menu
4) Grilled Chicken Pontabla(Main Course) - according to description on the menu, chicken breasts with scalloped potatoes, mushroom jus and white wine reduction. The cost was Rs 225. This was also a great item. Medium spicy and 2 large chicken boneless pieces in brown sauce with potatoes.
5) Old fashined cutlet(Main Course) - according to description on the menu, cheese stuffed vegetable cutlets with pasta and sauteed vegetables. The cost was Rs 175. This was also a good item, very tasty, non spicy but good. It comes like a big cutlet which sits on top of pasta.
Besides had 2 large Bacardi's with Coke.
Total damage - Rs 1675
