Destined in the Stars

It was destined that I write a review on my five friends.

Of all the characters that abound this place , these five really make life hell for others. More often than not, their reviews are in bad taste, written in haste and reflect both ignorance and arrogance on the part of the reviewer.

bindaas_guy

This half educated moron often writes on stuff that perhaps was extinct even in Jurassic age. What the hell, he writes of fairies that lived in times of black and white cinema ? And even there he digs up women who have long since been buried and exist only in sepia coloured prints in film archives. Who cares if her smile was divine or her shivering lips were a rage in yesteryears ?

Even in music he does not seem to come to terms with present day reality. He sings praises for archaic celluloid stuff like Mughal-e-azam, and its long forgotten music extravaganza. Does he really believe that people stopped making music after maestros like Naushad and Roshan left the scene ?? The guy must be living in the past, for all his reviews seem ridden with strange tones of black and white era.

His choise of music directors is bizzare. Why he did not pick up the likes of Rajesh Roshan, Rahul Burman, Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam and their ilk ? Even his choice of top twenty film songs made me sit up and think. How could he ever leave all the bollywood greats out ?

He writes of books and rakes up some unknown works possibly written when men still lived on trees and wore deerskin. These works of fiction are long extinct and forgotten even in their own countries, and this guy brings them up, as if to tell us that these were indeed great works of literature ? In this day and age of Grisham and Ludlum who ever cares to read stale and boring stuff like Lao Tse ? Why cant this guy come to terms with reality ???

And he is that recluse who shows up only after a gap of several months ? Why cant he be like other regular guys and gals ? Why cant he write reviews on his favourite creams and lotions and write a review-a-day ?

What place do such utterly useless characters have on a site like this ?? And on top of all this he writes a review and then he disappears as if on hibernation. You write comments on his review and he does not even have this minimum courtesy to thank you and add a bit of his personal touch to your comments ? Does this guys ever care if his review was ever read or not ? Does he ever bother to go back and see if someone ever rated his review ?? Does he ever care to read comments written by fellow writers ??

I see little or no reason, why this reviewer, whose presence serves no purpose, whose reviews make no sense be banished for good from this site. Take your excess baggage of black and white era romanticism, that slow and worthless piece of ranting that you call music, those yellowed books that no one ever cares to read and leave us to do better things in life.

And why doesnt this bindaas character upload his picture, and his profile is so vague ? What is this that he is so afraid of ??? Does he look worse than the devil ?? Or is he really some character running from the long hands of the law ??

I searched long and hard, to find another reviewer who was as bad as this bindaas guy, but I found none. I read all reviews, I searched everywhere but I found this fellow to be the most outrageous. In fact others shine like stars when compared to Bindaas. Most of them write well, their language and their style is well formatted and their reviews are useful. I would specially mention some writers who take extra pains in making their reviews as personal as can be. They are enjoyable and going by the number of comments that could run into hundreds, you can see that they are well received all round. Their comments exude a warmth that is only matched by their personality and style.

It is these reviewers that draw the likes of me every day to Mouthshut.

It is idiots like bindaas who leave a bad taste in the mouth.
