When KING KHAN went wrong??. Review on Five Worst Movies Shahrukh Khan

Well when I saw this particular category I instantly knew I had to write my views on this...I have been a die hard SRK fan since the last 12 years...and I have watched all of his movies more than 4-5 times...agreed he has worked in some forgetable movies but just look at the number of great films and hits he has delivered over the past 12 years...the list is endless....deewana, raju ban gaya gentleman, daar, baazigar, kabhi haan kabhi na, karan arjun, dil se, kuch kuch hota hai, k3g, devdas, kal ho na ho, chalte chalte and more recently main hoon na...not even aamir khan can boast of so many hits.... you might consider me biased but when it comes to SRK I am biased...cant hear a word against him...

Much has been said about his repetitive acting, the same baners he works under, the same genre of cinema he keeps attempting, his snobbish attitude...but read any of his interviews and the man justifies himself extremely well.. so here I present my list of SRK's five least likeable performances and movies:

1.HUM TUMHARE HAIN SANAM(2002)

CO-STARS:SALMAN KHAN,MADHURI DIXIT

this film took a long time to be made and it clearly reflects in the performances of the entire cast...SRK in the role of a suspicious husband looks unconvincing...hams throughout the film....but it was ultimately his presence only which guranteed the film a decent opening at the box-office

2.ANJAAM(1994)

CO-STARS:MADHURI DIXIT

though SRK got the best villian award for this film,i dint like this film neither his role in the film...he had already done a negative role in daar....but that character of RAHUL which he played was far more intersting and had more shades than his character in ANJAAM....

3.KARAN ARJUN(1995)

CO-STARS:SALMAN KHAN,KAJOL

this film was a big hit and it was the first time SRK and SALMAN were paired for the first time by RAKESH ROSHAN in this reincarnation drama,but in this film SRK was totally overshadowed by SALMANS performance who acts brilliantly and I think has looked best among all his films....

4.GUDDU(1995)

CO-STARS:MANISHA KOIRALA

this film was neither well made, nor well directed, SRKs role was a major dissapointment, he does ham in the film and MANISHA KOIRALA too looks uncovincing..

5.MOHABBATEIN(2000)

CO-STARS:AISHWARYA,AMITABH

well mohabbatein had a great run at the box-office and the film too was ok,but lagging by SRKs standards...his character left a lot to be dsired...and I didnt like his look in the film at all...perhaps many will disagree with me because his look did go on to become a rage among youngsters...but I found his performance in mohabbatein definately unconvincing compared to his other performances....

I would appreciate your comments on this review...I know there a lot of die-hard SRK fans and I would really love to interact with them
