Hi all guys, I'm back to motorcycle reviews. This is my tenth review and thought it be another one on motorcycles itself. So, here goes.

I just wanted to list out some of the bikes which I feel we Indians could live without. For frank reasons, I'm considering mileage, power and all other factors and would not rule out any single bike in the market. Alright now, lets go for the major 5 that wouldn't make onto my list.

TVS Centra This is the first one to be eliminated from my list as mostly, this double fire engine did not have power, mileage, stability and finally, worst torque. This one has been a favorite for many villagers who could've been conned easily. Afterall, TVS targets the rural markets. Always.

Kinetic GF170 Launched when the Karizma was launched, Kinetic easily made the biggest mistake and ever since, their sales of the GF170 never seemed to pick up. The 170 never even seemed to hit the roads as much as the GF125 did quite long ago. This engine, is quite as big as the Pulsar 180 is, has a meaty chassis which can handle loads of power. But the suspension quality, tires, engine operational durability has all let down the bike so poorly that it cannot even think about competing with a P180 classic, let alone the DTSi versions.

Bajaj Wind 125 What can a bike of 125 cc do against a 115 cc one? Nothing positive. This was the answer one could give for a Wind 125 and Caliber 115. For christ sakes, this is supposed to be a bigger engined one and decently well stable.  But the engine had to be tweaked to be accomodated into the Caliber 115's chassis. Hence, 10 Bhp with less torque meant that the bike would go no faster than the Caliber 115 and give you at least 10-15 Kmpl lesser than the Caliber 115. Harsh vibrations and engine unreliability washed this bike from the market.

Hero Honda Glamour Put one engine into an elegant bike and sports bike was Hero Honda's approach to the modern day 125cc segments. Hurry is killing Hero Honda and they are yet to realise it. These people really were the first to launch the big bikes in India. Agreed. But what can a stupid looking jazzy bike like Glamour do when compared to greats like Discover. Even Super Splendor is light-years ahead in comparison to glamor. No mileage, no power, horrible stability and nervous handling. I would rather watch someone riding this bike, standing on the roads.

Yamaha YD125 Yamaha also seems to be juggling around with zero budget. I mean, why are they always poking at mileage bikes and commuter bikes while their foreign affairs say that they are the makers of the second fastest bikes in 2 big segments like 600cc(YZF-R6)and 1000cc(YZF-R1)? It should mainly be because they have found some sweet spot to keep the business running that way while their big bosses invest big time to bring majors like Fazer 250 and above. This is where yamaha is also losing out big time. The YBX was such a major hit while the same engine recalculated, flopped big time. Too much R&D and too little knowledge of the market seems to drop their piece of the cake too.
