My bottom 5 list!

I am sure many of you will not agree with my choices, but I know you have all been gracious in the past about my choices for best actors and actresses in English films. I have not grown up, per say, with all the Hindi films. However, I think I have seen enough of them, particularly in the past 8 years to give an opinion of actors whom I think are consistently poor. Here they are in no particular order.

Shahrukh Khan: What can I say? I think he is ambitious with his own production company, and he has been in some popular films, but I do not think he is a good actor. He does not generally play diverse characters. He plays some rich boy who falls for a poor girl. I have noticed now that he is trying to expand himself. He recently played a poor boy loving a rich girl. I also do not care for that screwed up face he makes when he is in a crying scene. I want to hand him some Ex-Lax because he looks constipated.

Salman Khan: He is definitely not a good actor. I cannot even say he is ambitious like SRK. He's got a great body, which is about the best thing I can say. He should really play a villan rather than a hero. When he smiles in these films it gives me the creeps. He looks like a crazed lunatic with that grin. He does not seem comfortable giving lines on camera, and especially he does not seem comfortable DANCING in front of the camera. Actually, I might be biased against poor Salman. He looks like he could be the elder brother to this boy who went to college with me. This guy was paired up with me in Organic Chemistry class to be my lab partner(due to the creative alphabetical order method of the professor). He was creepy with his smile too, and sometimes he would follow me all over campus and hang outside my apartment complex(psycho!).

Bobby Deol: This guy is probably creepier than Salman Khan. I think that he is coined as a ''Bad Boy'' with his hair the way it is, but he just looks scary. I cannot get past his looks to take him seriously as the hero in any love story. Plus, he squints his eyes too much. I mean, at least try to make the scripts work.

Hrithik Roshan: I saw him in Mission Kashmir along with Sanjay Dutt, who also is close second to Mr. Roshan in being worst, but Mr. Dutt is not ALWAYS terrible. Hrithik is a bad actor, because he reminds me of Steven Segal. His face seems to be frozen into one expression. It does not matter if he is in a sad or happy scene. His face remains transfixed in one pose. Maybe he gets Botox injections before filming?

Raj Babbar: I have a big list of bad actors, but I can only choose 5. This person made the list for grossly over-acting. Nikaah was probably the worst performance by him. I think he is at least giving acting a shot, but he over does his expressions. That makes me annoyed. Acting is supposed to be natural. For this guy, it is forced all the way! You can tell he is not comfortable in front of the camera. He seems to be afraid of it!

There is my list! What can I say? They all have their faults, and I feel that if they are getting paid that much money to give a top performance they could improve in their craft. Any job worth doing is worth doing well.
