The usual Chetan Bhagat, original, enjoyable, and a good coffee time reader. Even though he mentions that the book is half fiction half genuine, it stills gives the reader a distinct insight on his IIT days or more broadly speaking the life of a typical IIT student.
But the reader definitely shouldn't interpret it as a guide, as Chetan clearly states. It also may marginally depict the famous Bollywood hit'3 Idiots'. I would say the book is a decent all-rounder, it touches each aspect of a college student's life, friendship( is given a lot more importance), love, pressure etc. He honestly gives his view on the IIT GPA system. I also give credit to him for making it a short and lovable read. Overall I think that it's a must read for anyone looking for a good, amusing and short book.
