I always wanted to write on this topic but I waited for sometime to know a bit more about the user ids on MS.
I am geared to write my review and here it goes:
Common looking people are the best in the world: that is the reason the Lord makes so many of them. - Abraham Lincoln
In the same manner, common looking ids have flooded the website. In this kind of situation, few people stand out tall in entertaining people with their unique ids.
Now I will not refrain myself to a list of five. I will define more ids here but they will be outside the competition.
The source of inspiration may be anything - Rock Music, Bikes, Books or anything under the sun, the ids sound funny. So here is the list:
Top Five Nominations for 2005
1. Lallupanju
Definitely my favourite. I have not seen anyone using this kind of id anywhere. Hey Sakshi, could you tell us your source of inspiration.?

3. kyon_ke_it_salman
Waah Dost. A unique id indeed. You have proved that you are the biggest fan of Salmaan. Does Salman knows about it?

So your yahoo id must be yahoodotcom. I was not sure so I sent a test mail on two ids:

Appreciable Performance
juggernaut - A very destructive id indeed. So Amol how come you write such creative reviews?
Pulsarian - Thank God you donot own a Rajdut, otherwise it would have been Rajdootian.
matwalaboy - A cool id. Not funny but has a cryptic humor. Prizes assured from matwalaboy to the person undeciphering his id.
sk01 & tej8 - Please give a big hand to two shortest ids of mouthshut. Think how easy it is for them to login using only 4 characters.
psyxx - What an id. So shall I believe the two'x's stand for co?
Spelling - I am inspired to keep my yahoo id as misspelling.

I am not very old to MS and thus might not have come across various ids which had humor in them. Please add them in the comments.
