?There is certainly no absolute standard of beauty. That precisely is what makes its pursuit so interesting. ? So said John Kenneth Galbraith. So here goes my list :
1. Sridevi
Cherubic face, amazing body and a voice of a girl-child. Watch those amazing emotions flit into those deep eyes. This lady does not need to speak. She is an apsara incarnated, walking among us common people. The movie that showcase her beauty best was Chandni. The transformation from a bubbly, overexcited young girl to a mature, sophisticated woman could be carried away so smoothly only by Sridevi.
2. Madhuri Dixit
Venus incarnated as a modern woman. Beautiful lights dance in her eyes when she smiles that dazzling smile of hers. Those free, unbridled hair which set a rage in the 1980s. Every woman was copying that hairstyle back then. No one can look as adorable arguing loudly as she can (Tezaab, Beta) or dancing gaily in a scarlet dress (Hum aapke kain kaun).
3. Dimple Kapadia
Another tress queen. Brown, long hair which dance elegantly in the wind (Saagar). Eyes that can launch a thousand ships and a husky, intoxicating voice. She got into the serious cinema and even in those drab settings, Dimple?s beauty shone like a bright star in dark nights.
4.Preity Zinta
Vulnerability meets exuberance. One feels that she will never grow up. Imagine a gay field of tulips, dancing in the summer breeze. That?s Preity for you with her merry laughter, mischievous eyes and peaches and cream complexion. Her smile invites you to jump up and run with her to catch butterflies under the sunny skies.
5.Sushmita Sen
Thank God for ?Main Hoon Na?. She was presented as never before. I just love her style. Her beauty is restrained almost as though she knows that she does not need to prove a point. Her confidence and poise sets her apart. She is a gorgeous woman and she knows it.
