Cursed Fairies..... Review on Five Most Beautiful Indian Actresses

Everytime I see them on screen , my heart beat comes to a halt for a few moments and then suddenly it starts beating faster then ever. My senses become numb and the rest of the world simply stop existing for me.

Is she from this world or she is one of those cursed fairies I heard of, in childhood stories??Those fairies condemned by god for some reasons to live among the mere mortals like us.

It is not the mere physical beauty or their smashing looks which make them this attractive. They all are women of substance in my opinion. They are irresistibly charismatic and they possess a magical aura around themselves.

If you go by my opinion I will go as far as describing their beauty as charismatic, enigmatic, magical, breathtaking, unfathomable and??sorry I ran out of adjectives.

When it comes to beauty we all have our own opinions so you may not find them beautiful but They rule my heart , I often dream of them.

1. Mallika Sarabhai ( Dazzling beauty)

Thanks to those few hindi movies she played minor roles in. Cause my list is incomplete without her and these movies help me justify her as a hindi movie actress as this category ask for.

Daughter of the legendary dancer Mrinalini Sarabhai and famous scientist Vikram Sarabhai Mallika is much more then a beautiful woman.

A dancer, an actress and an activist, Mallika has won a prestigious French Award for her act as Draupadi in mahabharta(French). The lady?s dazzling looks have a spark complimented with her intellect which makes her very desirable and a true beauty.

2. Suchitra Sen (Classic Beauty)

How I wished her daughter would have had some of her charisma but alas ! she didn?t have any.

Those of you who don?t remember her ,try visualizing the song Chal ri sajni ab kaa soche? from Bombay Ka Babu. The bride in that song is none other then Suchitra Sen. As the song evolves her face covers the entire screen and her serene beauty will cast a spell on you. I often feared while watching her on screen that if the screen freezes at that time I may freeze with it forever.

I don?t know how she would have looked in colour but she looked classic in black and white.

3. Madhu Bala (Breathtaking Beauty)

Here comes the lady who bewitched the entire nation with her beautiful smile in her days.

Those eyes spoke volumes and were capable of moving masses. How could one remain sane after seeing that lopsided smile of hers with eyes casting a sideways glance.

Alas ! she died at an early age of 36 years due to some heart ailment. But her last flick Mughal-e-azam was great and hw beautifully she played the doomed courtesan was amazing.

Despite being a good actress she is mostly remembered for her breathtaking looks.

Remember the song accha jee main Haari?. from Kaala paani???

Remember her dancing eyes ??

4. Rekha (Timeless Beauty)

I didn?t find her beautiful in her early days but now with each passing year she is getting more beautiful then ever.

The other day I was watching the recording of one of the filmfare awards. She was reciting a Nazm(poem) clad in an ethnic dress. I was awestruck by this timeless beauty and her deep sensuous voice fully compliments her majestic persona.

Those of you who have seen her in Zubeida recently will know what I mean to say. She simply overpowered karishma.

The deep gaze of her beautiful black eyes seems to possess power to of penetrating rocks.

5. Smita Patil (Sober Beauty)

I know many of you may not agree with me on this choice But I always was enchanted by her simple and yet amazingly beautiful looks.

She may be as simple as a girl next door yet she carry a regal charm within herself. Who says beauty is all about those sexy and stunning looks it is much more then that. To prove my point I will declare Mamta Kulkarni ,Mandakini and mallika sherawat as ugliest women on earth.

Her stubborn looks ,her thoughtful eyes made her very charming ( atleast in my opinion).

Smita who was first noticed in Shyam Benagal?s manthan(1977) later became the queen of parallel cinema. Unfortunately she too died at a very young age of 31 years.

Apart from these five others worth mentioning are Vaheeda Rehman, Nargis, Shobhna, Aishvarya Rai, Rani Mukharjee, Kaajol etc.

I don?t know if Mallika sarabhai acted in some movie other then Katha or not but I hope she qualifies as a bollywood actress on that basis. If not then please forgive me cause I simply couldn?t ignore her. Moreover she acted in many Gujarati movies and the category asks for five Indian actresses I guess.
