Five Hindi Songs I’d Sing For My Beloved….wow now this is one of the most interesting MS topics I’ve come across and all the reviews on it were equally interesting. But I noticed that most of them contained the same songs again and again. So I’ve chosen five songs for my prince charming which are slightly hatke yet very romantic and show my true feelings for him.
1. Saat Samundar Paar(Vishwatma)
Now this may seem like an item number to you, because it was depicted that way in the movie, but if you notice the lyrics carefully it’s a very romantic song. The girl in the song can cross the seven oceans to meet her boyfriend. Although it’s a different thing that these days the seven ocean can be crossed in just seven hours if you are traveling by a good airline. Sadhna Sargam’s voice made this song even more melodious.
*Na Rastaa Maaluum Na Teraa Maan-Pataa Maaluum
Kaise Mere Pyaar Ne Tujhako Dhuu.Ndhaa Kyaa Maaluum
Siidhii Tere Paas .
Siidhii Tere Paas Mai.N A.Nkhiyaa.N Miiche Miiche Aa Ga_Ii
Saat Samu.Ndar Paar Mai.N Tere Piichhe Piichhe Aa Ga_Ii
Mai.N Tere Piichhe Piichhe Aa Ga_Ii*
2. Mere Khwaboon Mein Tu(Gupt)
It’s quite a fast and romantic track from the film Gupt. The lyrics are quite mushy but the different kind of music makes it a unique song. Every girl want to keep their boyfriend away from the cruel word(read other girls). So they try to keep them locked up in their every breath, in their arms and in their heart. Singers for this lovely duet are Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu.
*Tu ho koi phool to chura loon
Apni zulfon mein laga loon
Hey hey
Palkhon ke neeche chhupa loon
Tu ho koi jaam to uda loon
Apni pyaas main bujha loon
Hey hey
Haan aanchal ke peechhe chhupa loon*
3. Tu Tu Hai Vahi(Yeh Vada Raha)
This is one of my favourite songs. I’m humming it all the time. I guess every couple should sing it to each other, it will certainly help in increasing love b/w you two. It is a song, which is symbolic of true eternal love. If any song is beautiful – it is this one. Kishor Kumar and Asha Bhosle gave voice to this memorable song.
*Maein Aavaaz Hoon To Tu Hai Geet Mera
Jahaan Se Niraala Manmeet Mera
Ho Mil Jaayen .
Kisi Mod Pe Bhi Na Ye Saath Chhoote
Mere Haath Se Tera Daaman Na Chhoote
Kabhi Khwaab Mein Bhi Tu Mujhse Na Roothe
Mere Pyaar Ki Koi Khushiyaan Na Loote
Ho Mil Jaayen .*
4. Do Lafzon Ki Hai(The Great Gambler)
The time is very short. It’s running away at a rapid pace. Before you may realize death may come. No one can defeat time. The only way we can conquer it is by making the best use of it and spending most of our moments with the person we love. Asha Bhosle sung this heart touching song.
*Dil Kii Baato.N Kaa Matalab Na Puuchho
Kuchh Aur Hamase Bas Ab Na Puuchho
Jisake Liye Hai, Duniyaa Diivaanii
Yaa Hai Mohabbat, Yaa Hai Hai Javaanii
Is Zi.Ndagii Ke, Din Kitane Kam Hai
Kitane Hai Kushiyaa.N, Aur Kitane Gam Hai.N
Lag Jaa Gale Se, Rut Hai Suhaanii
Yaa Hai Mohabbat, Yaa Hai Javaanii*
5. Dil Ne Dil Se Tujhe Pukara(Janasheen)
This song is a call to your beloved when you are missing him like hell and just want to be with him at all costs. It’s a very hot and sensuous song, maybe perfect for a candle light dinner! Do sing it for your guy and I am sure he would find it next to impossible to leave you. I guess Meneka must have sung the same song to woo that saint from Hindu Mythology(err…can’t remember his name).
*Ho jaayein nazar nahin aayein ishq kehte hain jisko
Bin maachis aag lagaaye
Bin maachis aag lagaaye ishq kehte hain jisko
Aaja mere yaara, yaara aaja aa bhi jaa, dil ne dil se tujhe pukaara
Dil ne dil se tujhe pukaara oh dil ne dil se tujhe pukaara*
