When it comes to love stories, they are never complete without music and poetry. If you can sing to your beloved, pour your heart out and express your emotions, would not that be lovely? There are plenty of such songs which you can sing to your sweet heart and make him/her happy. Here's listing five Hindi movie songs which are my all time favorite, when it comes to singing to my love:
- Pal pal dilke paas tum rehti ho - This timeless song from Blackmail movie has magical lyrics like - "Pal pal dil ke paas, tum rehti ho, jeevan meethi pyaas, yeh kehti ho...Main saans leta hoon, teri khushboo aati hai, ek meheka meheka sa, andaaz laati hai..."
The voice of Kishore Kumar will compel you to fall in love over and over again! Do check out the screen couple Dharmendra and Rakhi too.
- Ehsaan tera hoga mujh par - Mohd. Rafi Saab's classical rendition of this song from Junglee movie is made immortal by Shammi Kapoor's genious lip sync. And whew! Saira Banoo's looking like a goddess. Some sample lines to quote -
"Tumne mujhko haasna sikhaya, rone kahoge ro denge ab, aansoon ka humare gham na karo, ye behte hai to behne do, tumse mohabbat ho gaayi hai mujhe, palkon ke chhaon mein rehne do, Ehsaan tera hoga mujh par...."
- Jiya dharak dharak jaye - Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has woven magic with his voice in this soulful melodious track from the movie Kalyug! A must sing to your beloved -
Lagta hai ye kyun mujhe, sadiyon se chahoon tujhe, Maine yeh zindagani, sang tere bitaani, tujh pe basi hai meri jaan hai..."
- Kehne ko Jashn-e-Baharaa hai - May be a surprise inclusion in this list, but this song rendered by Javed Ali is so enchanting that it reverberates in your heart after you hear it. From the movie Jodha Akbar, do check out the pair of Ash-Hrithik, as they sizzle up the silver screen.
"Kehne ko Jashn-e-Bahara hai, Ishq ye dekh ke hairaan hai, Phool se Khushboo mehek rahe hai gulshan mein, chhipa hai koi ranj fizaa ki chilman mein..." Pure poetry!
- Tum se hi tum se hi - This love song from the movie Jab We met is sure to bring a smile to your sweetheart if you sing it for her. Mohit Chauhan's flawless, unconventional voice adds to the beauty and appeal of this song.
"Tum se hi din hotaa hai, surmayi shaam aati hai, tum se hi, tum se hi, shor mein khamoshi hai, thodi si behonshi hai, tum se hi, tum se hi...."
