My line of thinking is, if one is preparing a list of gifts to receive, ask for something which one dreams of and cannot afford.
Why settle for * BRONZE * when you can aim for * GOLD *(and get it too!)
Here is my humble list
1. Sports Car
I love sports cars - more so after watching James Bond in his flashy cars. I would like to receive a PORSCHE - Red in color, a convertible. On a cool crisp fall afternoon, go for a leisurely drive around the neighborhood with the top down and the wind in my face, singing George Michael's * What a feeling!
2. Carribean Cruise
A 7 days - 6 nights cruise to the Carribean - Montego Bay, Jamaica, Bahamas and relax in the ship, take part in all on-board activities, go ashore to enjoy the blue ocean, the sun soaked sand and the swaying palm trees.
3. African Safari
I am fascinated by wild animals - partly due to watching the Discovery channel and partly coming under the influence of Chinappa Devar movies of yonder years like Haathi Mere Saathi(Rajesh Khanna, Tanuja and an Elephant), Gaai Aur Gori(Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya Bhaduri and a Cow), Mera Rakshka('gunmaster gopal g9' Mithun Chakraborty, Rameshwari Talluri(remember her) and a goat). Any jungle in Africa will do - preferably Kenya.
4. European Holiday
A vacation in Europe to include Switzerland, Paris, Italy, Germany and the Benelux countries - just travel, enjoy the sights, the culture and the good food.
5. Air Ticket to India
No'gift list' is complete without a desire to visit the home country and that too in'First Class'(not on Air India puhlease - that is another story).
I hope, 'someday'someone' will give me at least one gift from the above list.
Arree, koi hain!
In the interim, Best Wishes and'duaaien' kafi hain.'Kaam chalo loonga'.
- P.S: The holiday season is upon us, I have sent this list to Mr.Claus. If you do not hear from me for some time - you guessed it right - 'I have received my gift'
