The best web sites… hmmm…! I’m a net savvy and I think I’ve not yet visited best on the web. So please keep in mind that these sites are my favorites and I’ll try to introduce those sites, which haven’t been explored or introduced by others.
I won’t rank these sites coz I believe that they all are good and have different subjects. I would avoid introducing sites which though are good but almost everyone have visited, like rediff, google and our favorite MouthShut.com.
So hold your breath … you are about to enter into a virtual world, which is unreal yet beautiful.
The very first one is https://angeleyes2.com/This site is an enchanting one. Beautiful cards- of angels, beautiful applets, nice poetry that you can add to your card and can send your friend a musical, poetic e-card. A truly magnificent site and believe it or not this is absolutely free to all. A place you can explore and explore and explore and yet feel that you haven’t seen it all. You can save these pictures on your hard disc and can save as wallpaper or just can make a picturesque story. Go for it guys. It’s worth your time. Enjoy!
The next site I’m going to enlist here is http://www.poetrypoem.com which again is a beautiful site. As I write poems too I found this site a nice one for those who want to display their poems here. You need not know any HTML programs or unintelligible JAVA language. Though there are other sites, which provide this kinda feature, but for which you feel to install an updated user in your motherboard (body given by your mother), which we all know is not inbuilt in most of us. This site is very user friendly – you can simply add your poems, edit it, get feedback, read other’s poetry and read “100 recent poetry”. Apart from that you can search from three categories- poets, poems and site names to find your friends. This one is free too, so I’ve made mine here too.
The third site which I like is http://www.webshots.com many of you must have visited this one but still since it’s one of my fav I can’t help mentioning it. It was introduced to me by a friend of mine. It has loads of beautiful pictures… and just by downloading a software you will be able to add few wallpapers (there are loads to choose from). And later on can add as many as you want… I guess you can download 5 pics a day. There are different categories – 3D Art, Animals, Cats & Dogs, Fine Art, Flowers & Gardens, Holidays, Military, Nature Scenes, Ocean Life, People, Space, Specialty, Sports, Transportation, Travel and further sub categories. There are other categories- like Top Download photos, Highest Rated Photos, Best Selling Photos, Newest photos, editor’s choice which are must see.
Their fourth site a virtual library named http://www.bibliomania.com in this site there are loads of e-text to read. This is a site for all those book lovers. There are other sites like this, which provide free e-texts. I know there are not many people who will suggest this type of reading coz they believe there is nothing like real book. And I completely agree with them but you can’t buy all the books you want to read. And sometimes-even library doesn’t provide the book you are looking for, in that case you can go to this site & download the entire book and read off-line. I’ve read “Pride and Prejudice” from this site. If, in this site, there is not a book which you want to read then try another such site. But if you want to read a new book then I’m afraid such sites can’t help.
If you’ve a computer then I guess you need to know about this site, http://www.Annoyances.org . Whenever I’ve a computer related problem most of the time this site helps. There are topics about all problems but if there is not the one you are looking for you can add your query and usually someone or the other comes with something useful. Give it a shot. Trust me!
I don't promise that these sites are the best web sites of the year... but are best web sites that I've come across. So kindly bear with me.
