Shaan is having a very cute voice and he sings well. What happened is that he is not yet gets a big chance, although his many a songs are very good he wins a award last year too, but not some thing like that happened in the case of Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan & Sonu Nigam. He is still too young so it is hoped that in future he will do some thing very special.
I have chosen only the filmi songs from this chap.
1.?Musu Musu Haasi?&?Woh Pehli Bar? from the movie PYAAR MAIN KABHI KABHI. These songs are amazingly composed by Vishal & Shekhar and equally sung by Shaan. The softness in Shaan?s voice makes these two songs unforgettable. From this very first entry to Film Industry Shaan has shown his talent. The film had flopped but the album was not gone unnoticed. Usually the fate of the music album is decided with the movie. But this time the album rocks and still the songs are loved by millions. His singing style is impressive.
2.?Suno Na? from the movie JHANKAR BEATS. Vishal & Shekhar again chooses Shaan to sing this solo song and they succeed. The song is so delicately sung by Shaan that he has won Zee Cine Award for this song. The song has got all those special ingredients which a slow number has and the way this has sung it gives the song some more attraction. Really the best song from Shaan.
3.?Chaya Hai dil pay? from the movie DIL HAI TUMHARA. Nadeem Shravan have chosen Shaan to sing this song and Kavita supports him in the song. The songs though are not much popular but in their own quality they are Superb. The specialty of Shaan is that he is trained singer and he used to sing the song with full devotion. In all his listed songs the most appealing thing is the style of his singing. From his style he is acclaimed as good singer. The music is good and expressions Shaan give really make the song wonderful.
4.?Ladki Kyon? from the movie HUM TUM. Jatin Lalit are the music composer. The song is youthful and is sung again is the special style of Shaan. The professionalism and the commitment to the work can be seen in this song as he deals this atypical song with the treatment it needs. People certainly like this song and the song is present in every music chart for the best songs of 2004
5.?Chain Aap Ko Mila? from the movie HUNGAMA. Many people don?t like the song but if you listen this song suspiciously I am sure you will get the reason why this can be said as one of the best songs of Shaan. His style of singing is impressive. Reminds you that the song was recorded by Nadeem Shravan in 1991 in voices of S.P Bala & Ahsa Bhosle but remain unused, in this movie they have re-recorded this song in the voices of Sadhna Sargam & Shaan, the way Shaan sings the song it becomes a good song in my music library.
Shaan is young energetic and very popular these days from his show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa for Zee TV. In the near future he is expected to sing more. He is a quality singer and his private albums success is the proof of this statement. I like Shaan as singer and he is doing quite well.
